A Day in History

Hello old friends!

Today, lots happened that I feel I need to write down, before I forget!

Corbin, who is 22 months pooped on the potty!  It was a big surprise!  While we are swimming I bring his little potty out because he doesn't like to go Tee Tee in the pool.  He tells me when he needs to go and then he does his business! This has been going on for about a month.

Today was like no other, he was on the potty doing his thing.  When he was done, he was just standing there.  My Dad looked down and said "Oh that is nice Corbin, thanks for leaving some poop for us."  WHAT?  I about died!

So I'm not really sure where to go from here.  But it looks like we're going to be letting him pick out some undies very soon!

And while this Poop was happening, Carter swam across the short (little corner) end of the pool!  I was also so surprised about this!  This is a major stride for him!!!  It kind of came out of nowhere, he's been loving his new puddle-jumper (life vest thing) for the past week, that I was actually shocked he wanted to take it off! I'm so proud of him!!  AND he was so proud of himself!  We caught a video of the very end of him doing this for about 30 minutes so it wasn't his best performance, but thrilled to have caught some of the FIRST, nonetheless!  (His swimsuit is off, I hope this doesn't offend anyone!)

AND if all of this wasn't enough to surprise a blog post out of me, JOHN arrived at 2AM last night!  We thought he'd arrive this afternoon!  What a sneaky guy!  Maybe these boys were so excited that Dad is with us for the week that they pulled out new tricks?

Ok, so I have some catching up to do!

Like our move FROM Canada.
Corbin becoming an American.
Corbin's 5million words.
TX adventures.
What are we doing with out lives?? (This will be a hard one, because I have no clue!)

I'm sure I've been deleted from every list!  But I'm just HAPPY to have this documented.  I love looking back throughout the years!

P.S. I didn't even remember how to log in.  Sad.

Love to my fellow bloggers,
Sarah

18 Months Old & Photo Dump

Little John Corbin is 18 MONTHS old!  How crazy is that?

Personality:

Corbin is still Mr. Personality.  He is so funny or so angry or so mad or so excited!  Lots of emotion, that is for sure!  He will try to tickle you, scare you with a "boo," chase you around AND then be so upset that he hits his belly then flops down on the ground in a tantrum.  I shouldn't laugh...but it's hysterical.

He is (still) strong willed, very determined, and opinionated.

He LOVES Carter.  He will ask about him the second he wakes up "Caga."  He wants to play with everything that Carter does.  It can be frustrating for both, since they play so differently.  Carter will build a train track and Corbin wants to take it apart.  Ahhhh!  It will take time. :)

Corbin is an animal lover.  He gets so excited when he sees the ducks at the lake!  And any dog that is walked past is chased down for a pat.

Language:

Corbin understands so much! It's crazy.

He is speaking so much too!
